New Vista PC - slave old hard drive?
If I slave my old hard drive - temporarily - to my new Vista PC, can I copy over my data without the risk of any viruses or malware getting on to my new PC? (data only, not applications)
Can you even slave a hard drive with windows Vista? Thanks! |

Hi, you can slave the old hard drive with windows vista as long as you have the hardwear for it (right cables really).
As far as the virses, that really depends on if there was anything on the old hard drive you have to worry about. You could get a virus if one is already on that hard drive. |
