How can I change my IP address
Hi All,
I need to change my high speed connection Ip address. I get always the same Ip. I have not a static Ip with my Internet Provider, but it seems i get always same address, I tried ipconfig /release and /renew but without success. I think the modem is the problem and it gives my computer same Ip address. Any suggestion ? Thank for all Jean |

Re: How can I change my IP address
Hi Jean, welcome to TSF
As you've already tried ipconfig/renew, try one of the methods below, depending on your setup. From http://whatismyipaddress.com/staticp...-my-ip-address Quote:

Re: How can I change my IP address
most often your ISP is dynamically assigning you an IP (DHCP) however, you are just always getting the same IP from the ISP.
If you don't want this, you could ask the ISP to change their lease times (to be shorter) allowing the chance for you to get another IP to increase. Or else, buy yourself a router and work off of internal IP's. You can set firewall rules to NOT allow any traffic in WITH AN INTERNAL IP. Don't know if this helps.
