Hello:
I've been trying for the past two days to scan my pc with the online free scanner from Kaspersky and after 1:30 the program freezes and it just tells me it has detected 3 threats, but it doesnt finish the scanning. I've tried leaving it over night and I can't get it to get a complete scan. What else can I use to determine what viruses I have in my system? I run Windows XP. Any assistance is much appreciated. Thank you, Judy

Re: Free Virus Scanner found Virus
Hello -
There's a list of available online scanners in this topic: PC Safety and Security--What Do I Need? When running an online scan, be sure the resident protection apps are disabled, or conflict and hangs may arise. I notice that you have many topics in the malware removal section. I'd strongly advise that everyone with access to your machines take more care when using the internet.
