Re: The Shield Deluxe 2008??

Hi

Not one I've heard of (doesn't mean it's not good of course), but the fact that Firefox won't connect to their site does make me raise my eyebrows. From what I could find out, it is powered by Kaspersky and uses their site for updates. Did find some reviews though...

Re: The Shield Deluxe 2008??

Its not me, its a program that is on a customer's laptop. I have never heard it either which is what made ask and start doing research. Most of the reviews look good but occasionally I come across something like this

Shield Deluxe 2008 - Used for the distribution of "rogue" security or other such applications. Appeared on list of malware distributors. SCAM, because bogus information is used to entice visitors into thinking that this site has good customer relations! SpywareWarrior has this site on it's Rogue Software List.

And that raise a big red flag to me. I just wanted some more info before i call him and recomend its removal. Thanks for your help.
