Can I have both avg 8.0 and zonealarm security suite on my pc?

I have both avg 7.5 anti-spyware on my pc and zonealarm security suite. To be honest, sometime avg catch spyware that zonealarm didn't (even though I have the zonealarm internet security suit).
But now Avg no longer anti-spyware as a separate software, instead avg 8.0 is going to have both anti-spyware and anti-virus together.
I know that running two anti-virus software at the same time can be troublesome, which is my exact question.
I still would like to have another anti-spyware software on my pc, and avg worked fined (especially being free).
Is there someway that I can have both up to date Avg anti-spyware and zonealarm internet security suit without causing any problem on my pc?
Also, is there anyway to have two anti-virus software on my pc?

I don't think this matter much, but I'm running MS XP service pack 2 with the following:
Intel Pentium 4 CPU 2.26GHz, 1G RAM.

Thanks.

Hi, AVG 8.0 and zonealarm secruity suite should be ok, but it shows that you only have about 1G ram, it would of been better if you got AVG 8.0 and just zonealarm firewall

As a anti-spyware program i reccomend

Malwarebytes [[Full version if you want on-acess]]
SUPERantispyware <--- Use that if you want to

As you've already noted, AVG AntiSpyware has been incorporated into AVG 8, and is no longer a freestanding application.

Zone Alarm Security Suite and AVG 8 both have AntiVirus and AntiSpyware functions, so you should NOT have them both installed on the same machine, or they may cause conflict due to the AntiVirus functions. While this may seem like greater protection, it can cause problems including slowdowns, system hangs or even crashes. This can happen if both AntiVirus applications attempt to access the same file at the same time. This may cause the applications to interfere with each other, or cause the system to lock up. It can also be a drain on system resources, making a machine run slower than it should.

I am using AVG Free and Sunbelt personal firewall and they play well together.
