quarintied items are safe to keep right

i just found a trojan dropper/gen with superantispyware

!!!Lol its quartined...but i want to submit this thing to superantispyware...im leaving it quartined...is it safe to leave it like this? quartined is like putting the virus into a locked cage right?

Quarantined files are rendered useless and can be deleted (or left in quarantine) after you've submitted the details to SuperAntiSpyware.

Trojans can do all kinds of things, like self-replicating or creating new infections, so you might still be infected. Do a complete antivirus/spyware scan or follow these instructions and start a new thread in the Virus/Trojans/Spyware forum where an analyst will help you as soon as possible.
