Hi there,
If I am posting in the wrong place please accept my apologies, I am very new to this forum. My son has a laptop loaded with Vista and keeps getting this error message: Error loading C:\PROGRA~1\MYWEBS~1\bar\2.bin\MSPLUGIN.DLL The specific module could not be found Now after doing some research I think it has to do with a Malware issue with My Webs. I don't know what My Webs is however, and not sure how to fix this. I have looked in his Add/Remove Programs and there is no sign of it in there so cannot delete from here. Please help! Thanks so much! Kim |

Re: Error loading ...
Hi Kim -
This looks to be an orphaned registry entry left behind by a partial removal of MyWebSearch or one of it's plugins. If My Web Search is not in Add or Remove programs, or won't uninstall, you may need to post some logs in the HijackThis Log Help forum for one of the analysts to review. Please follow our pre-posting process outlined here: http://www.techsupportforum.com/secu...oval-help.html After running through all the steps, please post the requested logs in the HijackThis Log Help forum, not here. If you have trouble with one of the steps, simply move on to the next one, and make note of it in your reply. Please note that the HijackThis Log Help forum is extremely busy, and it may take a while to receive a reply.
