My sons computer tries to bring up this website every time
it is turned on hxxp://scan.scannerantispyware.com/10299/3/
I cannot find anything on it. His computere is doing some really
weird things. Has anyone heard of this and if so, do you have any
suggestions?

Re: scan.scannerantispyware.com

Hi -

Please do not post live links to suspect sites. Always deaden the links so others do not click on them. You can do this by leaving off the http:// and/or the www. or using hxxp instead of http

Seems as though your son's machine may be infected with a rogue antimalware product. Do not follow any advice received via popup, or purchase such applications.

Please follow our pre-posting process outlined here:

http://www.techsupportforum.com/secu...oval-help.html

After running through all the steps, please post the requested logs in the HijackThis Log Help forum, not here.

If you have trouble with one of the steps, simply move on to the next one, and make note of it in your reply.

Please note that the HijackThis Log Help forum is extremely busy, and it may take a while to receive a reply.

I'm not sure why you would post in this thread, instead of following the same instructions I gave the OP. To prevent others from doing the same, this thread is now closed.
