everything tries to open with LNK extension
Hi all,
I am trying to fix a friends laptop. It somehow associated all the shortcuts to open with a LNK extension. I found a thread from MicroBell from back in 2005 that gave a solution. The linkfile_fix.zip corrected the problem. The shortcuts now open correctly. Now the question is what may have caused this problem to start with? Is there malware, virus, or such that may have caused this? or just something else? Thanks for the help. |
