Re: scan winodws live with avast! pro
Hello Blast,
The only way that you will be able to scan any downloaded files would be to right click on the file in question, and select scan with Avast® from the drop-down menu. This can only happen if you 'save' the download rather than 'open' when you start the download. Once you have scanned the file and its 'clean' right click it again > Properties > Unblock > OK; this way the file will immediately open. Now if you are meaning files that are sent to you over Windows Live™; you'll need to open WLM and go into Tools > Options... > File Transfers > and navigate to the file that has the Avast® shell scanner file in it; then, add it to the box for file scanning. Post back with your thoughts. Kind regards,

Re: scan winodws live with avast! pro
There should be a scan.exe file within the Avast™ file located in C:\ProgramFiles\Avast.
Sorry, but I'm not too au fait with the listings for the Avast™ Program Files, so I'm not too sure which one you should use. Hope this helps you find the file though. Kind regards,
