Nasty Problems i think down to a virus
aint really clued up on pcs but i'll try the best i can.
pc went nuts earlier today after i downloaded a mod for a game, it changed my desktop, and removed items such as my computer, windows explorer, desktop options from pc. if i try to change anything it says my access has been denied by the administrator. WHAAAA? im only person that uses PC. i know have 3 shortcuts on desktop for antivirus software, and pop ups even when offline for antivirus software. also my clock contantly displays the time followed by VIRUS ALERT!.. and if i have more than 1 tab at bottom of screen running, it randomly switches between them i've managed to restart in safe mode and remove the application i downloaded before the problems, but still it remains bad. any help anyone can give will be appreciated :) |

Re: Nasty Problems i think down to a virus
Hello and welcome to TSF.
![]() Pleases read this sticky: If you think your computer is infected.... After running through all the steps, please post the requested logs in the HijackThis Log Help forum, not here. If you have trouble with one of the steps, simply move on to the next one, and make note of it in your reply. Please note that the HijackThis Log Help forum is extremely busy, and it may take a while to receive a reply
