Kaspersky7.0 issue
Hi! I am brand new to this site and am praying someone can help me figure out my internet security.
I have Kaspersky 7.0 Internet Security on my computer. I just recently had to have a Trojan Horse removed from my computer using the Geek Squad. I was trying to get into my Netflix account and suddenly Kaspersky won't let me in. In fact, some of the most innocuous websites are getting "forbidden" by Kaspersky which never happened before I took it to Geek Squad. I called them and they said I had to call Kaspersky and I was on hold with them for over an hour before I gave up. I have an 18 month old that wasn't interested in my continued "holding". I am sure this is something easy ( please, please let it be...), but I am a little technically challenged as you can tell. can anyone help me figure out how to make Kaspersky not forbid half my normal websites? Thank you! |

Re: Kaspersky7.0 issue
welcome to TSF,
it's not that often that it takes an hour to get through to kaspersky via phone support. you are the first person i have ever heard that from. have you tried, temporarily for diagnostic purposes, to disable your antivirus. right-click the icon and click "pause protection". this will tell you whether it's KAV that is the problem. they also have a very good forum. they will help you quickly. they have helped me numerous times, but i would try phone support again as well. http://forum.kaspersky.com/index.php? |
