[SOLVED] Help!!! can't access my hard drive T_T

hi guys! need help!

it appears my flash drive's infected. symantec didn't detect any infections. T_T... can't access my hdd including its partitions when double clicking it. it has an autoplay feature when i right click it. when i double click my hdd it runs wscript.exe. i can only access my hdd when i use view-->explorer bar-->folders option checked.

how can i fix this?

thanks in advance.

one more thing, when i acces my flash drive and my hdd it has a file gspi731.vbs; it only shows for a bit then it hides itself. i can't even search it. i search this on the net but this script has no search results.

regedit has been disabled even i logged in as an admin

Hi and welcome to TSF.

Sounds like you have a flashdrive infection there.

Please start here and follow the instructions.

http://www.techsupportforum.com/secu...sting-log.html

Please ensure that you complete all of the 5 Steps. If you cannot complete any of the Steps, simply move on to the next one - remember to let the Analyst know about this when you post your logs.

Do not post your logs back in this thread - follow the guidance in the above link!

Please note that the Security Forum is always busy, so I would ask for your patience while waiting for a reply - it may take a few days.

Re: Help!!! can't access my hard drive T_T

hi angel! any other solutions to my problem?
i don't have an internet connection (yet)(too bad T_T) so i can't run an online scan. i got this malware because my co-worker borrowed my flash drive. without knowing it, he put it on an infected pc.

angel, is my symantec av didn't detect that malware because its outdated? my last update of it was last march. my last update of my os was last march also.

editing autorun.inf (-r -a -s -h) was no use. it didn't fix my problem at all T_T

hope i can get another assistance from you.

Re: Help!!! can't access my hard drive T_T

I can't help much without logs to work on and logs can only be posted at the hijackthis room.

If you can't complete a certain step, proceed with the next.

Is there any way you can transfer the tools to your computer?

Possibly. But AVs can only do so much. Sometimes, they just can't detect everything for you.
