Can badware on one computer affect others on the network?
If one computer has been compromised in some way, can it affect other computers that use my home wireless network? If so, is there a way of avoiding this?

Yes it's possible, I've seen that sometimes, but it won't happen most of the time, best way to avoid this is format the computer that has the virus on it, or use a firewall on all of your computers.
