norton notification pop ups

it's doing my head in i need to turn it off every time the notification dissappears a new one comes up and it's just blocking the same thing over and over again, can any one tell me how to turn off the notifications on norton antivirus 2008

What does the notification say? Maybe it's important and shouldn't be ignored.

it's saying that it blocked a security risk and it's the same one every time

I just need to know the name of the "same one every time".

It's difficult to offer any help without the full information.

It would be irresponsible of us to just tell you how to disable notifications when there's obviously a risk of your computer being infected or under attack.

If Norton is only blocking and not fixing the problem, try the self-help fix here (post#4)
