Which antivirus should i keep?
I have Norton 360 with the add on pack, Stopzilla, and Spybot Search & Destroy. It's recommended that i keep only one in the 5 step process of removing spyware. I'd be happy to keep all of them if it was safe.

Re: Which antivirus should i keep?
Hi oOTopGun21Oo, and welcome to TSF.
![]() Firstly, it is not a good idea to start more than one thread about the same subject and though i think you did right to post your Hijack this log, (that part of the forums is always very busy and you may have to be patient), please advise any other users who may be trying to help you that you have posted in a different section. Spybot is a very well known and trusted standalone antispyware program but it is never a good idea to have more than one instance of this type of software on your system at the same time. The Norton package probably contains antispyware software and therefore will be conflicting with Spybot. So, you are quite right, you need to get rid of one of them. I doubt you will find anyone at TSF recommending bundled packages such as Norton as they usually put unneccessary strain on system resources. In my opinion it is much better to use some of the free to use standalone programs and you will find good advice about this Here Ultimately, you will recieve the best advice when an analyst comes along to review your Hijack this log. Hope this helps. Regards, Dave.

Re: Which antivirus should i keep?
I think the recommendation is for 1 anti-virus. Your other programs are anti-spyware, and it's ok to have more than one of those installed.
Stopzilla is legitimate (see here). I don't know how it compares to other similar programs though. I've never had any popups using Firefox, so I haven't tried Stopzilla.
