[SOLVED] AVG8 Installation Issues
I had AVG8 installed to the D drive of my Vista computer before trying to set up Duel Boot with XP
Due to problems during the setup of this system, the D drive had to be deleted, and Vista now beleives that my XP partition is D AVG8 on Vista thus, now points to the XP installation of AVG8, and when run on Vista has liscence key issues and doesn't work The AVG installer will only give me standard repair and change options, and I don't think there is a way to use it to create a fresh install on my C (Vista) partition without touching the files left on the D (XP) partition I have tried entering the liscence key that the XP install uses for its install to see if I can get Vista and XP to share the files, however the key was rejected How do people advise I resolve this issue? |

Re: AVG8 Installation Issues
Resolved, here's how I did it (all from Vista):
Step 1) Made a copy of the files on D (XP) Step 2) Uninstalled from Vista Step 3) Resinstalled to C (Vista) Step 4) Replace files copied from D to original location |
