AVG free 8.0 virus vault
I had a virus, & I moved it to the virus vault. It has an empty virus vault feature & a delete virus feature. I hadn't quite figured out what to do (which is highlite the virus name before you can delete it), only I didn't know this at the time, so I clicked empty virus vault. Did I release the virus back into my computer ? When I scanned again it showed no infections.
