is softwares like ccleaner and easy cleaner are effective

actually i m bit worried that which is the good software to erase the unwanted entries in registry and unnecessary files so if anyone of you has used either one of the softwares then please let me know i really need your suggestions.

We do not recommend the use of registry cleaners. Our colleague miekiemoes has an excellent writeup here
