What Is A Good Pain Free Paid Anti-Virus To Run With Online Armor Free Firewall?

I am setting up a XP Pro computer for my daughter. She is good with computers but has only used public computers and knows little about security. I need a good paid AV to go along side Online Armor Free firewall that does not constantly throw questions at her?

Hello and welcome to TSF.

There may be other suggestions, but these are regarded as good paid antivirus applications among the security community.

1. Kaspersky
2. Nod32

Hello!

I am using Online-Armor myself. I use to use NOD32 with Online-Armor and it works flawlessly. You cant go wrong with using Kaspersky either. Avira also is very good.

Avira is sometimes naggy even if you add the application exclusions. It does have a great detection rate. It detects all my macros which is not good, because non are harmful. My favorite antivirus that caused me nor problem so far has been NOD32. Kaspersky is very good but it hogs system resoruces and is very annoying to me,
