My System

Klone.Z virus

Today I un-installed my AVG Anti-Virus Free Edition 7.5 and fresh installed version 8.0.100 and ran a scan and came across this virus.

It was found in my free CD burning program, BurnAware Free Edition 1.3

I did a quick Google search for Klone.Z and didn't come up with anything helpful, does anybody know what this virus is and what it does? I'll probably just delete the program afterward and search for a different free burning program, but I just wanted a little more information on this first.

Re: Klone.Z virus

It may be a false positive.

You can upload the file that it's detecting here: www.virustotal.com

that way, you'll know what other AVs think about it.
