Cannot Show hidden files And Folders Rootkit Agent QV Detected
A couple of days ago a friend told me that he couldn't view his hidden file s and folders and whenever he changed the setting to show them it just went back to hide.Bitdefender and Spyware Doctor found numerous infections and one was Rootkit Agent QV which even though Spyware Doctor removes it, it seems to reinstall itself after restart.Any suggestions on how to repair this?

It sounds like Spyware Doctor isn't removing everything. I would recommend you follow the instructions in the link below and post your logs in the hijack this section. An analyst will check your logs and advise you on removal of any malware. http://www.techsupportforum.com/secu...oval-help.html
