avanquest fix it utilities?
A friend of mine has this on his computer and it runs great compared to mine which sometimes takes several minutes just to open a web browser. Is there a way to get avanquest fix it utilities for free or is there a better software that is free? Thanks in advance for your help.

No need to install additional softwares to speed up your computer, the less programs you have installed and running in the background the faster it'll run. Minor errors in the registry are not likely to slow your computer down noticeably so we don't advise users to use registry cleaners.

Windows Desktop Clutter: A Hidden Culprit in PC Lag The responsiveness of your applications also depends on the speed of the hard drive (a laptop's 4200 or 5300rpm drive can't compete with a 7200 or 10000rpm drive), the file fragmentation, the cpu power and the amount of memory.
