wowexec.exe

I just in my task manager that this process was running,
what made it stand out was a space in front.
blah.exe
[single space]wowexec.exe
blahblah.exe

like that. It is 00.0% of the CPU, and the field for Mem Usage is completely blank (also stands out)

I googled it, a search that returned that it was part of the operating system and should not be tampered with,
but I've heard of viruses/malware being named things similar to important processes,

so my question: do spaces preceding a system process name mean that it is different from the same process with no spaces preceding it?

Thanks a bunch,
---Sam V

Re: wowexec.exe

It seems this topic should be moved to general security...
