Not sure if this is the right place to post but...
I Recently downloaded a BETA version of Windows live messenger 9 and after half hour or so of running the program an unautherized person remotly accessed my account, changing the password and secret question, and leaving me with a cheeky little note ..resaulting in loss of all my contacts and E-mails. I have contacted microsoft about the problem, but suprise suprise, they wont do anything about it. Is there anyway i can retrive my data, or better still the whole email address and its content? any help would be appreaciated greatly. cheers |

Re: Hacked Hotmail
I have lossed my Hotmail account before and went through microsoft and have got it back before. They ask you to give them some information eg ip address, last time you accessed your account, name, address, telephone number. They were really good with mine, took them about 2 days to get round to giving it me back and all my emails were still in tact.
I know it is a massive pain in the rear end when some little kid steals your account but hotmail has put into place a retrieval procedure that worked quite well in my experience.
