I've been infected by a Vitumonde.dll why can't I get rid of it?
I have a trojan Vitumonde.dll, it has been detected by SpyBot and I get rid of it but it keeps coming back. It slows down every thing and I keep getting resident boxes and SpyBot boxes coming up telling me to allow / deny changes. Its driving me mad.
I've used VundoFix but does not seem to do anything. Tried the 5 steps to removal nbut have troble with Avast won't let me down load the antivirus scanner Has anyone any ideas? Thanks Mattollie

Re: I've been infected by a Vitumonde.dll why can't I get rid of it?
Hi and welcome to TSF.
Vundo is rather nasty and requires specialised tools for removal. If you've followed the 5 Steps, make sure you produce logs from Deckards System Scanner and start a new thread in the HJT Forum. Do not post your logs back in this thread - follow the link above! Please note that the Security Forum is always busy, so I would ask for your patience while waiting for a reply. You have to turn off Avast to allow Panda to complete a scan.
