Re: Is my computer Safe?
I would replace AVG 7.5 with NOD 32 3.0 or at least 2.7 and install Spybot - Search & Destroy.

Re: Is my computer Safe?
I trust NOD 32 more than AVG 7.5... Tried both and NOD 32 found some that AVG did not...
About SpyBot... it is freeware and it is great software for cleaning from trojans. |

Re: Is my computer Safe?
Its all opinions and personal preferences. NOD will find some that avg wont and avg will find some that NOD wont. That is why you need second opinions. You install one antivirus and use an online one for a second opinion. Do not install two because there will be conflicts.
As far as installing spybot. Again its good to have a second opinion. It does not matter if two are installed as long as they are not running at the same time. Generally speaking your computer is safe for normal usage so as long as you practicing safe interneting you should be okay. To see how secure your system is go to pcflank.com and run their different tests.
