returning malware from quarantine to original location
i am finally at the point where, if i see that the scan detected malware, that i assume that it's a false positive. today i scanned with adaware 2007 in safe mode and found this:
pskavs.dll it's a file from panda active scan. i actually did the right thing this time and quarantined it. i have actually quarantined harmful malware before, then removed it. this is the first time that i have quarantined harmless files. how do i return these files to the original location? thanks. |

Re: returning malware from quarantine to original location
Click the Scan button on the left. There are 3 items listed under this button. Click 'Quarantine & Ignore'. Highlight the file and click the Restore button at the bottom of the window.

Just trying to clarify that not everyone should assume that what a scan detects is a false positive.
