Help! Cannot Get Rid Of Adware
I have been struggling with this for the last few days:
It started after I downloaded a program and ran it by accident, after that the adware started immeadiately, I ran my windows defender, and adaware and that solved the first case. After that a script was asking for permission from my zonealarm to come through, and it had Java in it, so I allowed it. Everything went haywire from there...Now my adaware doesn't even pick up on it when I run through a scan, defender on the other hand does and when I click to remove all it seems as if it does, but then the adware keeps coming back. I even when inside the registry to find the file, but it is nowhere to be found. Anytime I run a full scan on defender it finds it but apparently can do nothing about it: The file that it finds is c:\win32\ttc. When I look through the processes it is nowhere to be found. PLEASE HELP! P.s I ran I ran my McAfee virus scan through it, and still nada, I think that it is virus I just don't know how to locate and destroy it. And it keeps asking me to download Adobe Flashplayer. |

Re: Help! Cannot Get Rid Of Adware
Hi and welcome to TSF.
Please start here and follow the instructions. http://www.techsupportforum.com/secu...sting-log.html If you cannot complete any of the Steps, simply move on to the next one - remember to let the Analyst know about this when you post your logs. Do not post your logs back in this thread - follow the guidance in the above link! Please note that the Security Forum is always busy, so I would ask for your patience while waiting for a reply.
