Is it true that while AVG Anti Virus tends to be a little more user friendly, that AVAST Anti-virus actually detects more than AVG? I have heard that AVAST will find both Spyware and Viruses whereas AVG Anti-Virus is strictly for Viruses only.

I suppose even if it were true that running both AVG Anti-virus and Anti-Spyware (formerly Ewido) would be more effective then just AVAST alone.
