Password Problems

Recently picked up a Lenovo 3000 J Series computer,has windows Vista in but the person who had it before me put in 3 passwords,for each person who used it . So now I am unable to log on. My question is this with out reformatting is there anyway to get the passwords take out .

Is there any way you can contact the seller and ask for the passwords?
