NOD 32 w/MS Firewall & Virus Protection--Go together?
After a complete reinstall of XP Pro, I've installed ESET NOD 32 as my anti-virus. MS has asked for many updates, one of which was service pack 2. After restarting, it included a firewall and virus protection.
Should I keep these on w/ NOD 32? |

Pocketplayer,
I think you may be getting Microsoft Anti-Spyware mixed up with Anti-virus. Service Pack 2 does not include Anti-Virus, and therefore you should keep Nod32.

You should definitely update Windows XP with Service Pack 2. Service Pack 2 comes with many security improvements, including replacing the nigh-useless Internet Connection Firewall (ICF) with Windows Firewall.
