Keylogger problem.

I was dumb enough to fall for a keylogger recently. I was on the World of Warcraft forums, and someone posted a link, I followed it and thought it was a signup for the upcoming expansions beta. It was a key logger. I gave it my account name and password, as well as cd-key, adress, and answer to secret password recovery question. I was freaked out when I heard what it was and fragmented my computer (which I needed to do anyway due to some problems I couldn't find a fix for, which are now fixed).

Only problem is, I'm afraid to login to my account, thinking that they can get me again. What do I do?

Re: Keylogger problem.

If you mean 'formatted' instead of 'fragmented' then the keylogger will be gone.

You will need to contact the WoW support team as soon as possible to tell them what has happened so they can cancel your hijacked account and set you up with a new one.

Scan all downloaded files before running.

Yea, Formatted, I'll be sure to call them up tommarow, wouldn't want my account canceled, been playing since beta and have both the col' ed's.

I was going to just scan my filed instead of formating, but the before mentioned problem that I had that formatting fixed, was that my computer couldn't stay idle for more than 20 min, and it takes a few hours to scan everything on my computer.

Not anymore.

Thanks for the reply.
