[SOLVED] ONE good free anti virus program??
I know this may seem like a stupid question but, seriously, I get advice from everyone and their mother about which free AV I should use and a lot of them are free for a time period and then I end up with a million things on my computer that have expired or whatnot.
Is there one good free AV that isn't just a free trial? Also, while I'm at it, any other free programs [again no free trials] that I should use? I know Spy bot is rec by one and all but what else should I have as far as PC security? Thanks!

First of all, ill start with the phrase "you get what you pay for"
If you understand that and really want a free program i would recommend AVG free. http://free.grisoft.com/doc/2/

avg and avast are both free and pretty good. You already have the link to avg in a previous post but avast is here

I agree, only install one antivirus. If you want a second one, do online scanning. That is what I do for a second opinion. I use housecall.
