imready,
it deserves to be mentioned that norton/symantec has a rate of detection right up there with kaspersky, fsecure, and avira, and a stellar reputation for very few false positives. true, it's easy to bash them for charging money for phone support, it's a bad business decision. no AV is 100%, as we all know. after doing some research, i agree that malwarebytes is a quality legitimate software. thanks for the info, and for the solution. |
