WHy is this happening?

Ok so heres the deal, When ever I have the internet up and running on non video sites like Youtube sometimes these random sounds from video starts to play in the background. I'll close firefox and they'll still play! It seems to happen at random times.
I scanned my computer with Avast and Spybot S&D and nothing comes up. Whats wrong with my computer and how can i fix it?

Hi and welcome to TSF.

Do you use any Instant Messaging programmes? This seems to be a common thing amongst IM users.

Re: WHy is this happening?

The standard kind but you see the problem is these sound clips sound like there coming from a video site like youtube because the sounds are all different as opposed to the regular sounds you would get on AIM.
Sometimes i here a sound clip from a Balls of Fury DVD trailer and it'll keep playing over and over.

Are there any other strange things happening? Redirects to odd sites, pop ups, unable to access Task Manager etc?

Re: WHy is this happening?

The sound clips come from a website called Octane TV.com

I've never heard of the site before.

Sorry I forgot to mention something very important. It feels as though everything on my computer is slower.
