spyware blaster and spybot S&D

neither of these show up in my task bar. I've tried to get thom to do so but nothing helps. what do I do?

i don't know about spyware blaster because i have never used it, but as for spybot, i don't think you can get an icon in the task bar. the best you can do is an icon on the desktop. tea timer is a part of spybot. it provides real-time protection of some kind. i don't even know if there's a tray icon (i think that's what you mean by taskbar) if you run tea timer.
if you don't have an icon on the desktop, and spybot is not listed in your programs, then maybe your installation is corrupt.

SpywareBlaster does not have a tray icon, you might be thinking of SpyWareguard which does have an icon in you tray. Spybot S&D does have an icon only if you use the TeaTimer.

Do a search for teatimer in Spybot S&D help (good lord - it has a help function). That will put an icon in the taskbar that you can use to launch the program
