Re: Remove Smit-fraud?
@Azinulbizar
Please read here. Only authorised security staff may post specific removal advice to users. Whilst I appreciate you are trying to help, malware has become more complex today and running even the simplest scan or programme could, in certain circumstances, render a users system useless. @Isnipan - see here for our guide to using Smitfraudfix, or if you are not comfortable with that, follow these instructions http://www.techsupportforum.com/secu...sting-log.html If you cannot complete any of the Steps, simply move on to the next one - remember to let the Analyst know about this when you post your logs. Do not post your logs back in this thread - follow the guidance in the above link! Please note that the Security Forum is always busy, so I would ask for your patience while waiting for a reply.

Re: Remove Smit-fraud?
That's OK - what you can do is direct users to this thread
http://www.techsupportforum.com/secu...sting-log.html and ask them to follow the instructions. The security team can take it thereafter.

Re: Remove Smit-fraud?
Sorry - can't count.
If you still have problems I would suggest following the link in Post #4 and posting your logs in the HijackThis Forum. An analyst will then advise on what actions to take.
