Router firewall or internet security? :I

HAY!
I got this wireless router SMC (SMC2804WBR) and it has an in build firewall which I'm using all the time. So I'm wondering if that NAT firewall is good enough or do I need another firewall like norton 360 what I'm using now? Somebody says that the routers firewall is the best you can get and if you use 2 different kind of firewalls they mess up eachother.

Im also interested in a new antivirus. Because norton uses so much memory. So if you have some antivirus program in mind which uses little memory, you could say it and also what do you think about Sophos anti-virus? :) thanks

Re: Router firewall or internet security? :I

You only get a conflict with 2 software firewalls, so using the router's firewall and a software one like Comodo or Zone Alarm will be fine.

Opinions are divided over whether you need a software firewall if your router is setup properly. It's down to personal preference. I've always used both, but I know some people say that's not necessary.

See here for antivirus recommendations.
