www.seltp.com MSN and Hotmail trojan??

Ok, this has been bugging me for a few weeks now. People on my MSN messenger list have been telling me that they get offline messages from me with the following message:

Dear friends,
I am appreciate the products in the www.seltp.com.
companies, such as Laptops, Digital Cameras,
videos, GPS, Cellphone, Mp3, Mp4, electronic
products. The customers can get what whey want
to !you can click www.seltp.com. you could add
their MSN: seltp@hotmail.com

Today I seen where my hotmail account sent an email with my email account and the title "Hi". This is the message it contained.

Dear friend:
I just purchased the newest n95 phone 8GB from the website: www.seltp.com <http://www.seltp.com>. I think the price is very reasonable.The price of the products is so reasonable coz the customer of the website should advertise for the it so that it can be known to many other customers.Then the company will get more profits.That is why the price is so attractive.
Here is the website as following:
We are an electronic products wholesale .Our products are of high quality and low price. If you want to do business , we can offer you the most reasonable discount to make you get more profits. We are expecting for your business.

I have tried finding information about this online, but nothing comes up. I have ran a complete system scan with mcafee and found nothing. I've updated my spyware protection, scanned, and still not found anything. HIJACKTHIS did not find anything out of the ordinary either.

Can anybody please help me figure this thing out? I guess if I can't figure out a fix to remove it, I will just have to reformat the machine. It was formatted a few months ago so I don't really feel like backing everything up and redoing it yet.

Well Im sorry don't have an answer, but im pretty much in the same boat as you. The same thing happened to me: my friends have told me they had received an email from me with the exact message you posted spammed to my ENTIRE address list causing me embarrassment as a few on the list are professional acquaintances and former professors. I also checked and scanned my entire computer and can be sure no virus is present. I also noticed there is no history of any drafts being sent or deleted from my account. I really dont believe it is a problem with my computer as i built it myself, keep it well maintained, and take steps to keep it pretty much virus free. I dont give out my email freely when registering for anything and delete/block suspicious look email. Despite all my efforts and research as well as changing my password i have found no results and another spammed message has been sent once again as my friends inform me. I really hope there isnt a problem with my comp and also do not wish to change my email since the account in question is incredibly important. Since there appears to be no info whatsoever online if anyone has suggestions or has the same problem , please, any info/answer would be greatly appreciated.

That was the last time I had anything involving www.seltp.com happen on my system. I still went ahead and formatted everything just to be safe and I needed to clean up some other clutter anyhow.

Hopefully you can get to the bottom of it sure. Good luck on your hunt for the answer.
