VBS/Ritart.worm

http://vil.mcafeesecurity.com/vil/content/v_143930.htm

I have this virus, but can't install any updates for my anti-virus (Mcafree) because any .exe program I open just opens up notepad. It looks like this is a new virus, and I got it on the day it was discovered. Can anyone help me?

Re: VBS/Ritart.worm

Sorry. I was just somewhat excited that I finally found out the name of what I have, and was just seeing if anyone else had read about/got it too.

A HijackThis log is not enough to start with.

See this thread, and post a full set of logs in your HJT forum thread. Of particular interest will be logs from Deckard's System Scanner, Step 5.
