Spyware Terminator. Its totally free and gives free real time shield protection. You can also add their anti-virus to it for free. Which I have.
This is not one of those 30 day trials. It is FREE!

They also offer free Web Security Guard and Parental control software.
I have not tried these 2 yet.

AVG is very good. You get the full version for the first month, but it still keeps working after that and you can keep updating.It also is not a resource hog like Norton
