Hey everyone,
Hope this all finds you well in the new year...now here is my problem. It seems that my last update did something weird to my Ad-Aware and now it keeps getting stuck on me...it's sticking right around: CLSID\{40031115-09D2-3851-A13F-56930BE48038} It does it in every scan...Smart Scan, Full System Scan, Custom Scan... Anyone have a clue what happened? Thanks for any help... |

Re: Ad-Aware SE Personal Keeps Sticking
I don't why your Ad-Aware SE keeps sticking, but it is time for you to uninstall it and replace it with Ad-Aware 2007 ( still free) as support for SE ceased on 31rd December 2007 and you will not get any definition updates for it.
An anti-malware prog with out of date definitions is worse than no anti-malware prog as you will have a false sense of security. Change now, and I think your problem will go away. |

Re: Ad-Aware SE Personal Keeps Sticking
Wow, I was thinking I should get that one but I wasn't sure. I will definitely update when I get home.
Also, I have some other programs on there, will you let me know if I am covering all bases and protecting myself from everything? I would greatly appreciate it, this is what I have: CCleaner AVG 7.5 Sypbot Search and Destroy and Ad-Aware (soon to have 2007) I run them in that order too once a week just to be safe...do you think I'm safe? Thanks for your help :) ![]() |

Hi
You haven't got a firewall in that list and the windows firewall not effective. You can get a free firewall from the links in this article. PC Safety and Security--What Do I Need?
