Haunted speakers!

Hi,

I guess this would have to be a security spyware problem.

For some time now, I get drum rolls, or a few cords of music, always the same lasting about 3 seconds thru my speakers. Tonight I got it about 3 times in a few minutes, but usually it is hours between times.

My Spybot Search and Destroy, or AVG Anti-Virus has not found anything.

Any suggestions as to what I can do? Or who else, or where else I can ask?

Are you using any Instant Messenger programmes? This seems to be a fairly common thing with some IMs.

Try it with another set of speakers, does it come through with the same sound? What glaswegian says is true, this is usually caused by messengers

. Make sure you are not away, and getting messages.
