cmdsole.exe?

For those of you who want it quick and concise, here's the...

SHORT VERSION:
What is c:\%windir%\cmdsole.exe ??

And for those of you who want the details, I give you the...

LONG VERSION
I had a problem on one of my computers for a few weeks/months that has since been resolved, but I have still not been able to figure out any details about what happened.

Basically, it was a malware infection. Everytime I booted the computer, while Windows was loading the user profile, it would pop up a box in the top left corner of the screen that said "Setting up personalized settings for: cmdsole.exe"

This was not a new user profile, and with no recently-installed programs that I could think of.

The performance on the computer completely tanked, it could not even play MP3s without getting choppy.

Then suddenly, about a month ago, AVG did a complete scan, found and deleted c:\%windir%\cmdsole.exe, and all went back to normal. I would have deleted the file myself, but I've been baffled by the fact that even though it's obviously been identified as a harmful file by Grisoft, why I haven't been able to find a single mention of the file ANYWHERE on the internet!

So basically I have no idea what virus/adware/etc it is a part of, and I'm extremely curious who else has seen it. Anyone??
