free security

Forgive me for thise dumb question; but does anyone know of any free security Virus programs that I can download on my computer? Right now I cannot afford to go out and pay for norton, mcaffee, etc...but I need and want to stay secure so I do not get any Viruses.

theres avg and avast

between the two I personally prefer avast but they both are good so you would be protected whichever one you used.
