Need opinion Windows Firewall or McAfee firewall

I choose McAfee firewall, turned off Windows Firewall dont trust theres.

You can leave both on but only with that combo.. Not like ZoneAlarm and McAfee..

I like the NOD products but I use ZA for the firewall as I am cheap lol..

I wouldn't choose either, I've got Comodo Personal Firewall, its free and works like a charm :)

The fact of the matter is, Windows XP SP2 has a built-in firewall but it does not monitor outbound traffic.

Any third-party firewall will allow you to give/deny access for applications that want to go online. They also control outbound traffic from your PC, which helps prevent anything that may have made it past your protection from calling out for it's payloads.

Just to add a info, Microsoft will ship SP3 which is now under RC with firewall feature for OutBound trafic too :)

Having 2 firewall wont harm a lot but if one has many apps which are not covered by the autometic rules of the firewalls then its a additional work load to add those certain apps one by one at their firewalls exception rules !!!!
