Can someone please help me? No one is responding, and i'm going crazy...
I seem to have downloaded something by accident which is causing me loads of problems. For starters I keep getting security pop-ups, not from windows, but from some anti-spyware company, telling me i have bad malware/spyware/adware and telling me to go to their site and pay for their remover. their icon stays in my system tray, and even if i delete it from the task manager, it just comes back two seconds later.
in the task manager its listed as icthis.exe, isfmntr.exe, icmntr.exe, and isfmm.exe. going along with all this is constant internet explorer pop-ups. i had my computer on while i was away for an hour, when i came back there were 50 explorer browsers open. ugh. all this is really bogging down my system. Any help would be most appreciated. thank you. |

You could download and install Spybot Search and Destroy. Run it, then take the appropriate actions, then follow these steps

You need to be patient with your HJT thread, that side of the forum is always very busy, and they work on the old logs first then to the newer ones.
But please follow the link above that Jack.Sparrow posted, as they require a bit more information that what you posted. Good luck with getting clean. |
