Return of the DSSAgents!

I ran Spyware Doctor and I have 2 DSSAgents, that seem to be returning after being removed. Is there a way to get these stupid things to stay off !?!?

Re: Return of the DSSAgents!

I think you should look at the 5 steps again. Make sure you explain the problem in your new thread in the HijackThis section.

Re: Return of the DSSAgents!

You have some Broderbund software installed (BBStore, perhaps?) which is classified as adware.

This tool is reported to remove it:

Re: Return of the DSSAgents!

A HijackThis log won't help here. This is the entry I had asked you to inform me about here http://www.techsupportforum.com/1025423-post9.html

The reason that site is not listing XP is because this is an 'old' issue with Broderbund, dating back to before Windows XP came out. As it does specify that it works with Windows 2000, it should also work with XP. Give it a try, the worst that will happen is that it won't work.
