Anybody heard of FREELOADER_ROINGS ?

Any body heard of either FREELOADER_ROINGS or ADWARE_BHOT_IEHELPER because I have done a scan with MicroTrends and it found them but cannot remove them. Somebody over in the hijack this log section has it too but he hasn't got a reply yet. Only 2 pages appear in google and they are in German.

Where does it come from and what does it do?

We have an excellent analytical team here at TSF; I am quite sure that they will be able to assist you with this infection.

That said, I recommend that you go here; read and follow the instructions very carefully; then, post all the requested logs and information; as instructed, to here. (Click on the coloured links.)

Please create a new thread in the HiJackThis Log Help Forum and not back in this one..

When you are carrying out The 5 Steps, if you cannot complete any of them for whatever reason, just make mention of the fact in your post to The HJT Help Forum; an Analyst will assist you with other workarounds.

Once done, please be patient, as the Security Team Analysts are usually very busy; one of them will answer your request as soon as they can.

Thanks for the message. I will do that after I have finished trying to fix the missuses PC. Ive just looked and it has been there all night and nobody has commented a few have looked though. Could you suggest a snappier title than 'Got a trojan problem, help needed please'' that might get people to have look and comment? It has dropped down to page 2 and I am worried that if it drops any further nothing will get done. She keeps losing her cursor so has to reboot and loses all her work and I get it in the neck.

Hope it happens soon

Bertie, threads in the HJT forum are dealt with in the order they are received, so being on the second page doesn't mean you've been ignored. Thanks for that, I was getting worried. With all the nasties around I am not surprised they are working their socks off, God bless'em.
